I took the lampshade-making class at Squushed, and I couldn’t recommend it more! Amanda, was incredibly calm, patient, and clear in her instructions. Even as a complete beginner, I felt confident throughout the process and left with a brand-new skill—I can now make lampshades on my own!
The venue itself is cozy and welcoming. I’ve done a few courses there already, and each one has been a great experience. For the lampshade class specifically, I especially loved the wide selection of beautiful handmade papers Amanda provided. There were so many gorgeous patterns to choose from, making it easy to create something unique that fits perfectly in your home.
If you’re looking for a creative, hands-on workshop in a warm and inspiring setting, I can’t recommend this course enough. I left feeling proud of what I made and excited to try more projects.
