Description

During our full-day workshop, you'll learn how to craft your very own keepsake box from scratch! This workshop offers a fun and creative way to spend a day. By the end of the session, you'll have created a unique, handcrafted box to store keepsakes, knicknacks, or doodads. 

Details

  • Create your own box from start to finish
  • Create a lid for your box
  • Choose your decorative paper to cover the box and the lid
  • Learn how to cover the box with the paper in a neat and professional way
  • Embellish your box with ribbons, trims or knobs
  • The duration of this workshop is a full day (5-6 hours)
  • All materials and tools provided

Art House

Art House is an gallery and workshop space in the centre of Athy. It opened in December 2024 and is an urban cultural space, where people can gather for art installations, talks, film screenings and other cultural activities. 

There is paid on-street parking near the venue and various car parks. The train station is a 10 minute walk from the venue and there are many local eateries and cafes such as Bradburys and the Bay Tree nearby.

Keepsake box💕

This workshop is one of my favourites 💖 I can't believe I made this beautiful box from start to finish (although there's no way I'd have been able to do it without Amanda, she's amazing) She even taught us how to cut down the metal on the knob to fit the box. I'd highly recommend this workshop 😍❤️

Keepsake Box Making Workshop

I attended Amanda's keepsake box making workshop today and had a fantastic time. Amanda was so patient and explained each step in detail.
