Robin

The Robin is an original illustration in our animals series.

Robins, or "robin redbreasts" as they are sometimes called, are found in Ireland and other European countries. They can appear very plump and round, especially during cold weather as they fluff out their feathers. They are considered a gardener's friend.

The original was hand painted in gouache on watercolour paper

Each badge begins with our original artwork, which we print in-house. The printed design is carefully cut, layered with protective film, and pressed with the metal back. Every badge is individually made by hand in our Kildare-based studio.
