Badger

The Badger is an original illustration in our animals series.

Badgers are nocturnal mammals found across Europe, Asia, and North America. Known for their digging abilities, they create elaborate underground burrow systems called setts. They feature distinctive black stripes on their head, and can be found roaming the pasture grasslands, hedgerows, scrub, and woodlands of Ireland.

This badger loves the wilderness and nature. He enjoys meeting new creatures that wander into his habitat, and has been known to make friends with the new arrivals.

The original was hand painted in gouache on watercolour paper
